It has been a long two years, but it has been amazing. In the video above, I share some of what I did during my nearly two years of service as Miss Chicago’s Outstanding Teen 2020. The pandemic made me the longest-serving Miss Chicago’s Outstanding Teen – ever.
Exactly 100 weeks ago, I was crowned Miss Chicago’s Outstanding Teen. I will do a video series about my journey to the crown, and what’s next for me very soon, so make sure that you subscribe to my channel. You won’t want to miss it!
I have a lot of people to thank for this great experience, so here goes!
I am so thankful and humbled to have been your Miss Chicago’s Outstanding Teen 2020 for the past two years. Huge thanks to my parents, family, friends, internet aunties, and e-uncles for all of your support. I could not have done any of this without you, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.
Thank you co-directors Jason Pica, II and Lacy Crawford for guiding me through the process, helping me prepare, and making this experience truly amazing.
Congratulations to the new Miss Chicago’s Outstanding Teen 2022! Mia, I pray that your year of service is everything you hope for and more. I know you will have a great time serving the great city of Chicago.
Thank you Chicago for trusting me to represent you and allowing me to serve these last two years. It has been an honor and a privilege.
Love,
Eden Wilson

And now for a bonus video! I had no idea that I would have the opportunity to give my final thoughts on my two years of service, but I had about a minute and a half on stage during the 100th anniversary of the Miss Chicago Competition. Check it out!
