I am going to show you how I make macaroni pie (macaroni and cheese)! I’ve been making it for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s parties for a couple of years now, and it is always a hit. Here’s what goes in my macaroni pie recipe (I don’t really measure, so add things until you think it looks like mine):
The Recipe
2.5 cups mild cheddar
1 cup sharp cheddar
1 cup extra sharp cheddar
1.5 cups milk
2 eggs
3 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste

I’ll admit – learning to make this macaroni and cheese recipe was a little intimidating at first, but whether you call it southern macaroni and cheese because it has eggs, or Caribbean macaroni pie because it tastes like Trinidad macaroni pie, it is definitely the best macaroni and cheese that I have ever had. If this is your first time learning how to make macaroni and cheese, you almost can’t mess this up! It isn’t exactly instant, but it isn’t as hard as it looks. With this baked macaroni and cheese recipe, you can’t go wrong at the next family gathering. Just don’t forget the salt, and stir the eggs in REALLY good. It is a pretty, easy macaroni recipe, and I hope that it goes well for you!
