How cool is THIS! I have been updating my brand using my new logo and colors. Of course, I had to go to Giphy to update everything there too. (I have a lemonerdy giphy sticker that you can use in your Instagram stories – type “@thereallemonerdy” into the GIF search and my stickers will come up for you to add to your posts, enjoy!)
I made a few arcade games on Giphy, and they are so much fun! Would you like to know how to make your own giphy arcade games? It isn’t hard at all.
Why would you want to make giphy games? If you are an entrepreneur like me, you will want to get people to recognize your brand. Do you make cookies? Make a cookie game! Use your logo. It took me just a few minutes. Here are the steps.
- Make a GIPHY account. You don’t have to have a brand or artist account to do any of the things I am showing you how to do.
- Create a sticker. A sticker is a GIF file with transparency around the edges. You can use it in Instagram and Facebook stories, and other apps that use the giphy engine. Twenty percent of the pixels must be transparent in the first frame of your sticker. Click here to create a giphy sticker. It was pretty easy to do, but you can get step by step instructions here.
- Make your game. Click on the game that you want to make and choose different GIFs, including your own, to put into the game.
You can now use my lemonerdy stickers in your Facebook and Instagram stories! Type “@thereallemonerdy” into the GIF search and you can use them. Tag me @lemonerdy when you use them. I would love to see what you do!
