In this mini-course, we are going to talk about how to get to 4000 hours of watch time on YouTube SPECIFICALLY with a kid’s channel. As most of you who have kid’s channels know, YouTube, for our safety, has put policies in place that make it a lot harder for channels that make content for kids and especially kid content creators who make content for anybody, to get that 4000 hours of watch time that we need to get monetized. In the next 12 lessons, you will learn how to overcome the challenges that creators who make content for kids face and get closer to your 4000 hours of watch time required to become a YouTube Partner.
Why this course? Two reasons!
- While our main focus is STEM courses, we want to show you how our platform works, and give you a course that you can implement right away. Many educators have started or would like to start a YouTube channel that helps their students grasp concepts that are fun and interesting, or expand their knowledge outside of the classroom. - Do you know what the most sought-after career is for kids and teens today? YouTuber! After that… teacher. Kids WANT to teach on YouTube. They want to show their peers how they do things, and help them do things too. This course will encourage kids to overcome the obstacles put they will face being kids who create content for YouTube, and teach them some best practices that can help them monetize their YouTube channels.
